1. Offers and listing status

Offers can be accepted, declined, countered, cancelled or expired; refer to the current on-screen state. A counteroffer proposes new negotiation terms and does not automatically accept the earlier offer. Listings may be available, reserved, sold or withdrawn. A reservation following acceptance is an app status and does not collect or charge money.

Whether a sale contract is formed depends on the parties' actual communications, intentions and applicable law. Do not assume in-app acceptance has no legal significance or treat it as a platform guarantee. Confirm the item, final price, place, time, payment method and cancellation arrangements before handover.

2. Payment and delivery

Parties choose a lawful payment method and inspect the goods themselves. Linmee does not receive or hold sale funds and cannot reverse your transfer. There is no platform wallet, deposit, automatic refund, shipping label or delivery-cost protection. Independently arranged shipping is not a Linmee delivery service. Do not give verification codes or card details to someone claiming to be platform support.

3. Cancellation, problems and refunds

If you cannot meet as arranged, tell the other party promptly and update the reservation. For misdescription or other disputes, preserve necessary evidence and first discuss a resolution with the trading party. Report fraud, unlawful goods or threats. Moderating platform conduct does not determine every right between buyer and seller or provide a refund.

Statutory rights can differ between private sales and purchases from traders. Private sellers must still be entitled to sell and describe goods accurately, without fraud. The pilot has no dedicated trader service; businesses must not disguise commercial sales as private transactions. Applicable consumer rights do not automatically disappear because goods are second-hand, handed over or marked sold.

Linmee has no rule replacing statutory time limits with loss of all rights unless a problem is reported within two days. Return entitlement, costs and remedies depend on the actual sale and applicable law. Other platforms' buyer-protection policies do not apply to Linmee.
